The Popular Show Campaign 4 Reveals the Soldiers Table

From the very beginning of Campaign 4, recently appointed game master the talented storyteller has kept fans guessing with rich lore, a diverse cast of heroes, and a thrilling plot including divine entities, evil spirits, and malevolent powers expanding in influence within the urban setting.

Warning: Revealing details for Episode 3 of Campaign 4 lie ahead.

The Warrior Group Unveiled

Episode 3 concluded with a major cliffhanger and revealed the initial group of adventurers who will branch out from the main group to begin their own adventure, separate from the remaining groups.

The combat-focused team consists of the determined fighter (portrayed by Travis Willingham), the agile character (Laura), the fierce warrior (Whitney Moore), Wicander (Sam Riegel), and Kattigan (the actor).

Why Split the Party?

Given an extensive roster, it was evident from the outset that having everyone at the same party would be unfeasible.

That’s why, the first four episodes of the new season serve as an Introduction, intertwining the individual narratives before dividing into three separate parties: Soldiers, Strategists, and Questers.

What Defines the Soldiers Table

Per Brennan Lee Mulligan, the combat-focused party is for players who enjoy a traditionally charged fight-heavy gameplay experience where peaceful solutions are scarce.

Upon first impression, figures such as the hesitant healer Wicander might seem unsuited, but the actions of the latest installment show why these specific adventurers are best suited for the combat party.

Why They Must Go

To begin with, the party knows exactly where to go next after a violent opening clash with the antagonists.

A former ally of Thjazi Fang—whose demise kicked off the story’s plot—used the enemy for his personal gain, breaking into the secret base, striking Thimble, and taking all the powerful objects to dispose of.

The traitor then settled his debts and ran away to a fortified location in the northern region, north of Dol-Makjar, with Cyd Pridesire hot on his heels.

Character Drivers

Additionally, each member has a personal reason to leave the city the metropolitan area:

  • The agile hero, as the close ally and best friend, wants revenge.
  • Kattigan has experience in the region and cautions that it is a nasty place.
  • The warrior and The healer, having resisted his house’s orders to execute the fighter and instead rescued him, have no other options.
  • But, their status as key figures in the powerful family could enable the team enter areas they usually can’t.
  • Moreover, The grateful character swore a life debt to The cleric for his salvation and will now accompany him everywhere.

Wanted and Hunted

In addition, all of them are wanted by the powers that control the city for a variety of reasons, making remaining behind no longer safe:

  • The agile adventurer and The hero are notorious outlaws.
  • Tyranny and Wicander defied House Halovar and the horde of evil beings they are allied with.
  • The fighter is marked for death by House Halovar.

This leaves them no alternative but to travel to the remote area in pursuit of Casimir.

Future Episodes

Based on the latest episode’s follow-up content, we discover that the warrior group won’t be around in the upcoming installment, leaving the remaining eight participants to form the Explorers and Planners tables.

Fans can anticipate discovering which adventurers will be assigned to which table in the story’s concluding setup installment, available to watch on the upcoming Thursday.
